Fox GERI’s collaborative research project “Translation of ESP/Skills2Care” an evidence based program for caregivers of people with dementia won 3 awards!
- The Rosalynn Carter Institute for Caregiving Special Merit Award with support from Johnson&Johnson in Oct 2009
- The National Family Caregiving Award from the National Alliance for Caregiving with support from MetLife Foundation in July 2010
- The SAMHSA Science to Service Award from the US Department of Health and Human Services in November 2010

Through great volunteer effort to improve the health literacy of older adults and those that care for them, Fox GERI provided more than 200 FREE educational seminars to the public, reaching over 4,400 people in 2010.

Towards our mission of advancing the fields of geriatric medicine and rehabilitation, Fox GERI provided 12 accredited continuing education courses on geriatric specific topics to physicians, nurses, social workers, physical therapists, occupational therapists and administrators in 2010.
